Conditions of Incarceration: Your Client's Rights & Remedies, & How They Can Win or Lose Your Case (1 Hour CLE Credit)

Prison and jail conditions have a huge effect on our clients and their cases. What do you do when a mentally ill client isn't receiving his medication? Or when a jail is restricting legal calls? Or when your client is placed in segregation with no determination or reason given? In this session, Laura Stratton, Lead Assistant Capital Appellate Defender, will lead us through our incarcerated clients’ rights and what the potential remedies are when those rights are being violated.

This CLE is approved for 1 hour of CLE credit. It is $25 for assigned counsel, free for state-employed public defenders, and not open to prosecutors. Register here.
