Join us for a poverty simulation, facilitated by Kansas Assistant Federal Public Defenders Che Ramsey and Tim Burdick. A poverty simulation is a facilitated two-hour immersive experience designed to create awareness among participants of life at the bottom rung of the economic ladder. Participants are assigned to “families” who do their best to survive week-to-week over a simulated one-month period. This CLE is approved for 2 hours CLE credit, and is free and open to all members of the Kansas public defender and Topeka legal communities. Register here.
